SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, is believed to have originally infected a different host animal before it infected humans. In this activity, you will try to identify the origin of SARS-CoV-2 by comparing its spike protein with those of coronaviruses that infect other animals. Will you find a match?
