Micro and nano world explorers – STEM kit
STEM kit delivered to your school
Exploring the material world
What will you discover as you use different microscopes to view everyday objects?
Zoom in on nature to investigate the structure and function of living organisms and use the power of microscopy to explore specialised functions that enable multicellular organisms to survive and reproduce. Zoom in on living and non-living objects to conduct research in materials science and forensic science.
GTAC is partnering with Inspire STEM Education to bring a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) into your school. The SEM microscope is easy to use and student friendly. Capture your images as you use the GTAC resources provided to pursue a line of inquiry or bring in your own samples to develop your own line of inquiry.
Education resources are supplied and teachers and laboratory technicians are provided with training to support students to use the microscope.
GTAC will bring the STEM kits including an SEM microscope to your school and return to pick it up at a specified time. The STEM kit will be left with you for 1-2 weeks depending upon the number of students booked into the program.
