How does my immune system work?

Education design team: Chris Szwed and Alex Sipidias

In this gamified learning activity, students take on the role of different immune cells and work together to fight off and defeat an invading pathogen. They develop knowledge of cells involved in an immune response, in addition to their function. This teaching resource has been designed as a pre-task for the GTAC program 'Cells organs and body systems' in order to prepare students for their onsite visit, however, it can also be run as a stand-alone activity.
